Welcome to Patriot Gutters and Insulation ("Patriot," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the gutter, insulation, and roofing services we provide across the Des Moines metro. By using this site, requesting a quote, or hiring us for work, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

Use of this site

This website is provided to share information about our gutter, insulation, and roofing services and to make it easy to request a quote. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to disrupt it, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it in any way that could damage or impair the site or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

Intellectual property

The content on this site — including text, photographs, the Patriot name and logo, graphics, and page design — is owned by or licensed to Patriot Gutters and Insulation and is protected by applicable laws. You may view and print pages for the purpose of evaluating or booking our services, but you may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content for other purposes without our written permission.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or up to date. Service descriptions, materials, availability, and lead times change. Any pricing, R-value, warranty term, or turnaround shown or implied on the site is illustrative only — your price and scope are the written quote we provide for your specific property.

Service Terms

Quotes and estimates

Quotes and estimates are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on the information you give us and on what we observe at the property, and we aim to return a written quote within 48 hours of the walkthrough. If conditions differ materially from what was visible at the walkthrough — rotted sheathing or fascia discovered at tear-off, undisclosed prior repairs, hidden water damage, or unsafe access — we will stop and discuss any change with you before performing additional work.

Scheduling, access, and your property

To complete most jobs we need safe access to the roofline, the attic, or the work area, and space to stage materials and a dumpster or trailer. Please let us know in advance about pets, security systems, fragile landscaping, solar panels, satellite dishes, or other concerns. Weather governs roofing and gutter work: we may move your appointment when the forecast requires it, and we will tell you as early as we can.

Payment

Payment is due as agreed at the time of your quote or upon completion of the work unless we arrange otherwise in writing. We will tell you the price before we start, and you will not be charged surprise fees.

Workmanship guarantee and manufacturer warranties

We provide a workmanship guarantee on our labour, with the specific term stated in your written quote. Materials carry the manufacturer's warranty, if any; we install to manufacturer specification so that coverage stays intact, and we pass those terms through to you. We do not provide a separate product warranty beyond the manufacturer's unless stated in writing. A workmanship guarantee covers our installation; it is not a warranty of the underlying structure, pre-existing components we did not replace, or damage caused by later work performed by others.

Insulation and energy performance

Insulation and air sealing are quoted to a stated R-value, depth, or scope of work. Actual energy savings depend on your home's construction, windows, mechanical systems, occupancy, and utility rates, and we do not guarantee a specific dollar saving, utility-bill reduction, or comfort outcome. Where an insulation job is intended to address a symptom such as ice damming or a cold room, we will explain honestly what it can and cannot be expected to resolve.

Insurance claims

We will document hail and wind damage and provide our scope and photographs to support an insurance claim. We are not an insurance adjuster and cannot promise that a claim will be approved or that a carrier will accept our scope or pricing. Decisions about your claim rest with you and your insurer.

Limitation of liability

We are a licensed Iowa contractor, insured, and we perform our work in a professional manner. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patriot Gutters and Insulation is not liable for pre-existing conditions (such as already-rotted fascia or sheathing, prior water damage, aging gutters and fasteners, or previously concealed defects), for damage that results from conditions we could not reasonably have discovered, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a job will not exceed the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Iowa law.

Photos of our work

We may take before-and-after photos of the work for quality records and, occasionally, to show examples of our work on our website or social media. These photos focus on the roofline, gutters, or work area and are not used to identify you or your address. If you prefer we not use photos of your property publicly, just let us know.

Cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as you reasonably can so we can offer the time to another customer. Where materials have already been custom-ordered or formed for your property, we may ask you to cover that cost. We will give you the same courtesy if weather or circumstances require us to move your appointment.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the site or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Iowa.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Your continued use of the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
